Spring Thing is Going Virtual!
Dear California Middle School Community –
Due to the developments associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus), the California Middle School PTO Board has decided to modify this year’s Spring Thing Event scheduled for March 28, 2020. Each year, this event draws a few hundred people to the venue, including attendees, high school volunteers and food and beverage vendors. This is an essential fundraising event for California Middle School and provides support for after-school tutoring, after-school sports programs/uniforms/fees, scholarships for field trips, and supplemental supplies for classrooms. As such, we are not canceling – but rather modifying the format – of this event. We are following the Governor’s new guidelines recommending events with more than 250 individuals be postponed or changed to a remote format.
Currently, we plan to change Spring Thing to a Virtual Event! We will send out an email soon detailing when and how the Virtual Event will operate for ticket holders.
Each year, our goal is to raise $30,000 for our students to thrive. This event is only successful with YOUR help and participation. We all have a stake in ensuring our children have a great education.
We will send you additional information as we prepare for this exciting change. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and support during this ever changing situation. Any questions may be directed to Tania Muskopf at email@example.com.
